Winnie-the-Pooh ①

★Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, bump on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin.

★And then he feels that perhaps there isn't.

    The definition of "anyhow" that you have included here does not fit the context. I think the following definitions fits the context better: "Used when you are ignoring details so that you can talk immediately about the most important thing."
